C. William Crutcher - Brief Biography
Bill Crutcher is President of the Center for Performance Development, Inc., a corporation that since 1996 has provided “Reality-Based” tools and techniques for individual, group and organizational development. C4PD’s work activities range from Enterprise-wide Strategic Planning to one-on-one Leadership Development.
Bill and his organization have successfully served a wide variety of organizations – large and small; public and private.
He is a past adjunct professor of Management and Organizational Behavior at Illinois Wesleyan University.
Having worked for GTE (now Verizon) for over 29 years, Bill has extensive corporate experience in varied leadership assignments with both line and staff functions. This background includes merger and consolidation activities, process reengineering, benchmarking, best practice research, CQI and performance-improvement curriculum development.
Bill is co-founder of the Central Illinois Down Syndrome Organization and works with disability organizations locally and nationally in the pursuit of opportunities for all people with developmental disabilities.
He received his BS in Business Administration as well as his MBA from Illinois State University.
Bill served two years in the U.S. Army and is a Viet Nam Veteran.
Bill, and his wife Diane, reside in Bloomington - Normal.
